She Tried It, And…

She Tried It (Formerly known as Try It Out Tuesday). I decided to change the name because, I wanted to post more products to share with you, But didn’t to always wait until Tuesday.

I love scouring the grocery stores to bring you great products to try. I discovered this product by a happy accident, While shopping for my kiddos lunch. My youngest daughter (K) loves apples sauce, I like to buy it in a squeezable package because its less of a mess. And  she is a little messy, Aren’t all four-year old’s?

True story… I am in the isle picking out apple sauce for K and looked up to saw… Sprout Foods.

When I saw the package, I thought.. I love Peach, Banana and Coconut and dropped it in the cart without a second thought. When I got home and took it out of the bag, I thought… Wait! Is this baby food? LOL! Yes, Baby food. So I went to their website and found out the smoothies are tailored to kids. (Yep, I felt better! 😛 )

As you can see the ingredients are organic. And yes it even has Quinoa.

It looks like spreadable peanut butter, Doesn’t it?

Verdict: Honey Child! I am so in love with this smoothie. It has little chunks of fruit and quinoa as well. But the taste is simply amazing, its fresh, smooth, and to be honest..I was upset when I couldn’t squeeze any more out of the package. Yes, they are that good. I suggest you purchase and put it in your lunch for work. When your coworker ask’s what’s that? I would reply, I just grabbed one of the kids smoothies rushing this morning. (You can always blame it on the kids and not be embarrassed.)

Be sure to drop me a comment and let me know how you enjoyed it.

I buy similar little fruit packs like this for my kids too. Maybe I should try them myself, when I don’t feel like going through the trouble of making my own smoothies! Great idea. ;^)
