Malley Beauty

Determined to follow in her parents’ footsteps, Mally pursued a pre-med education. But the pull of her first love—makeup—proved too strong, and she put aside her plans to become a doctor to follow her true passion: beauty. Mally quickly moved to the top of the “it” list in the beauty world, working first at the Shisheido makeup counter at Barneys and ultimately as a makeup artist for private clients. Her passion for art, color, and design—along with her charm, contagious enthusiasm, and magnetic personality—helped her become one of the industry’s most dynamic, in-demand talents. For a decade, Mally traveled the globe doing makeup for some of the most fab faces in the world, including Beyoncé Knowles, Jennifer Lopez, Mary J. Blige, Rihanna, Teri Hatcher, Celine Dion, Lee Ann Womack, Ashlee Simpson, Angelina Jolie, and Heidi Klum. Renowned for her ability to make her clients look and feel beautiful, Mally became the go-to makeup artist for all things beauty, sharing her advice in the pages of top magazines and on shows like Oprah, The Today Show, Rachael Ray, and The View.

You can find Malley all over from the latest New York Fashion Week’s show (Tracey Reese). And on the wildly popular channel QVC, there is a second home for Malley, She promotes her gorgeous makeup kits to women of all color. Malley’s mantra is, “Makeup is simply the accessory that allows someone’s true nature and beauty to outwardly manifest itself.”

In May, Malley launched her new 24/7 gel nail polish system. I admit, I loved going to the nail salon and getting a gel nail that lasts a fresh 2-3 weeks. Ok, Lets do the math… Gel polish sets cost $30. They last for about 3 weeks. There are 52 weeks in a year / 3 = 17 x $30 = A whopping $510 a year!

I recently won, OMG…. Yes, Won!!!! (Insert, click heels) Malley’s 24/7 gel polish system via her twitter page @MalleyBeauty. After the shock wore off, I emailed her people my info and it was quickly Fed-ex via 2 day mail to my doorstep. When I received the package, I quickly ripped it open like a child on Christmas morning. It just gleemed with cuteness, For anyone like myself who adores all things cute: Packaging gets a “A+”. It was pink with a hint of shimmer. There it was the kit, I layed everything out and watched the youtube via’s and the easy pop up instruction manual was very each to follow. The first time, I tried it I used the color Tutu which is a manicured looked and I loved it! The instructions said it can last up to two weeks. Two weeks later…I still had beautiful manicured, nail salon quality looking nails. Ok, What’s the price of the nifty system? Well, it was previously $182 (I know, I know.. Ouch you may say). But, it’s currently on sale for $164.88 or you can make 3 easy payments of $54.96. This may seem like a lot of money, But remember early in this post you are currently spending $510 a year on your own nails, plus gas, plus breathing in harsh fumes. You can do it yourself in the quality of your own home for less and still have time to cook dinner.

Below you will find pictures of the complete system and my nails featuring colors: TuTu and aristocrat
