In my household, I am the food aficionado that is willing to try any and everything. My husband however is a different story, He is not as food adventurous as I. So, I was quite surprised when he suggested that we eat at Spin Pizza. Really? I thought, Spin Pizza? As if I have been to the restaurant before, Secretly, I was excited to try something new so I agreed.
The interior is amazing! The ceiling was made out of simple various sized wood planks, which created a really eclectic design. (I feel a DYI project coming on) The kitchen is completely open, all pizza dough is made fresh and in house. Don’t get overwhelmed by the menu, The staff is very knowledgeable, They will give you suggestions based on your likes and dislikes. Spin also a nice wine list as well, Perfect for date nights or a girl’s nights out as well.
I ordered the Mini Mia! Which consist’s of a personal pizza, a salad, and a beverage for under ($9.75 + tax). I decided to take the cashier’s suggestion and go #22 the SALSICCIA CON MELA (which consists of Scimeca’s Italian sausage, apples, and crushed glazed pecans). Apples on a pizza? Ok, Really..Apples on a pizza. My sentiments exactly! I admit I was a bit skeptical. But after that first bite, I literally inhaled it. The savory sausage, sweet/tart apples, and glazed pecans made my palate dance with glee. It was like eating a cold bomb pop on the hottest summer day (Yes! Pure satisfaction). My meal also included a salad, I ordered the chopped BLT (which consists of Italian Bacon, Blue Cheese chopped with romaine,scallions, farmhouse croutons, grape tomatoes. Blue Cheese Buttermilk dressing.) Amazing!

I decided to give the gelato a try myself. I selected the roasted pistachio gelato, I am a huge fan of pistachio’s. The gelato was fresh and creamy. The pistachio’s add just the right amount of crunch.
