She Tried It – Honey Ginger Sriracha Wings

Have you ever searched online and saw a recipe you just had to try? Well, I am a huge fan of wings. I love Buffalo wings, Spicy wings, Lemon garlic wings, see a pattern? While searching through Instagram, I came across an amazing profile “The Crazy Mom Cook”. She post’s delicious pictures of culinary creations. Every picture I viewed made me want to make everything on her profile.

Ok, So while that is not physically or financially possible I had to select one to make. I decided to make The Crazy Mom Cook’s Honey Ginger Sriracha Wings. I adjusted the recipe by seasoning the wings with Garlic powder, White pepper and Emeril Essence Seasoning. I also added minced garlic to the Sriracha sauce as well.  Here is a picture of the version of the wings:

Ingredients
Vegetable oil, for frying
2 pounds chicken wings, split at the joints, tips removed
1 cup Sriracha
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1/3 cup honey
2 tablespoon minced or ground ginger
fresh cilantro for garnish chopped

Directions
Heat the oil to 350°F. Fry the wings in batches for 10 to 12 minutes, until crispy and golden brown. Be careful not to crowd the pan.

Marinate your wings to your liking, as I use all kinds of seasoning from my homemade green seasoning to Emeril lagasse “essence” seasoning.

While the wings are frying, melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat. Add the Sriracha, honey, and ginger stirring to combine. Keep warm over low heat. Put the cooked wings in a large mixing bowl and toss with the Sriracha mixture and garnish with your chopped cilantro.
