Thrift Style Link Up – Mad for Plaid

I’m so excited to team up with some of my fellow Thrift Fashionista’s for a fun link up. I will be hosting two link-up’s for the month of December. My fellow thrift sister’s are those that I truly admire. Their style, grace, and overall fashion sense is so inspiring. I know you will love their style as much as I do. This week’s theme is: Mad for Plaid.

Maid for Plaid

To be honest, I have not worn “Christmas” plaid since I was a young girl. I remember growing up attending church on Christmas morning wearing my plaid and velvet dress with black patent leather shoes. Plaid is so big in fashion right now. Everywhere you look, you’ll find plaid or the newest term Tartan. It’s like plaid is the new neutral like leopard.

I was excited when I found this classic plaid skirt. I wanted to create a grown up look capturing those church days in plaid & patented leather. So, I paired a light turtleneck, a fur vest, a multistrand pearl necklace and booties. As you can see… Fab Look!

      Thank you Jasmine!

I appreciate that. I do not believe in spending a ton of money on style.
