I recently visited the opening of the new Container Store in Leawood, Kansas. Surprisingly, I never heard of The Container Store prior to receiving an invitation to attend the sneak peek event. The week of the opening, I spoke with my supervisor – she is from the east coast and raved about The Container Store. Her excitement soon spilled over to me, as I visited their website and felt like a kid in a candy store.
The Container Store staff took us on a guided tour. Throughout the tour I found myself adding more and more items to my list. Our wonderful guide Sonya informed us how each associate receives over 200 hours of training. The extensive training assists each associate in catering to the needs of every customer. I guess you can call them “organize” specialist? I asked for items I could use to organize my play room. The suggestions given were awesome and I can’t wait to put them into place.
Later on that evening, I attended the “after-party” pre-opening event. The store used items throughout the store to display their food. This idea was genius and proves the point their containers are multi-functional as well.
Be warned!!! The Container Store will not only help you get your life together, but get it organized. Here are items on my “to-buy” list.

I browsed The Container Store during my first visit this past weekend. I loved the jewelry organization ideas. I’d love to purchase a hanging rack or jewelry boxes to help me better “shop” my closet every morning. When I can see my jewelry, I know I’ll wear more pieces. The Huggable Hangers are a great addition too.

I love The Container Store!! Since I just moved into a new apartment with a tiny kitchen, I’d probably look for some smart storage solutions for that room. OR something to help really organize my closet (and shoe/purse collection). Can’t wait to make a trip to the new store soon!

Hello. I’ve been in live with the Container Store for a while. They opened one here in my town about a year ago and, I can only go there once a year.
I need more jewelry organizers and shoe organizers as a lady can never have too much jewelry or shoes!
I totally need a new makeup organizer!! So cool!
Love the container store. I would get more of the glass food storage containers with the plastic suction like covers since I do way more food prep on the weekends and need to store food and want to get away from plastic storage. Also the travel packing cubes.
I’ve been itching to get to this store for years! I could always buy online but I want to physically experience it. I would organize the nursery. Baby girl is coming sooner than I think and her room is a disaster.

I loooove The Container Store. I didn’t know they get 200 hrs of training. No wonder why everyone is relaxed and clearly knows what they’re doing.
Any time I do reorganization or overhaul projects in my house, I always always look to this store. Right now I need a system for my pantry.
I just moved into a new place. So a gift card from any store would be great. But I love the container store that way I can organize all my things perfectly.
Storage boxes for my pantry and for all the little itty biddy things kids accumulate and hangers! I need a million hangers!!!

I agree the container store makes me want to reorganize everything every time I go. There are so many items I want but next on my shopping list are some more Eagle Creek packing cubes. I have s several trips coming up and I’m committed to being team carry on. The packing cubes work wonders and would be really helpful. This #blmgirl has her fingers and toes crossed hoping for the win.
I absolutely love The Container Store, but didn’t know how multifunctional some of their items were until now. I would love to add the custom closet organizer to my list of must haves. Looks super spacious and multifunctional.

I’m so not organized, but they give me hope and inspiration….LOL I’m in the process of putting together my home office now that I’m a full-time divapreneur and they have some great office organization items and an oh-so-cute desk that is in the exact style I’ve been looking for at a very affordable price! I, also, love the stacking storage systems for my children’s rooms.

I love the container store…we dont have one in Cleveland but there is one in Columbus and we are there often! Since we are preparing to move I would buy one of the stainless steel trash cans or some organizers for my closet or the kids closets

I think that the Container Store is so cool. I would love to buy something to help organize my children’s toys, favorite things, and other objects in their rooms. Also, a few kitchen storage items would be a great choice too!
Well for me it would be what I would buy AGAIN lol! I love The Container Store, especially their acrylic lip stick holders, nail polish holders, makeup case, beauty organizer, their vanity mirrors, just anything to help me organizing my ever lasting collection of makeup that seems to grow everyday!
The Container Store has the best shoe rack I’ve ever owned. I’ve run out of space and I need another one! That’s what I would buy. 🙂

Love the container store! I just moved to a new house and have tons of organizing to do especially since I lost my walk in closet!! I have to turn our extra room into an office/closet for myself so I would get a few containers to organize my shoes and clothing storage by season.
I always see the Container store but never go in. I always thought it was too expensive for my budget. After seeing your review, I am going to try it out.
I love and have always loved the container store. I have a hot pink bungee office chair from there that I LOVE. LOVE. I could use that $50 gift card but how would I stop at 50! lol I would probably get some cutie office accessories to keep me organized! #BLMGirl
