Saver’s Sneak Peek

**I received a gift certificate to shop at Savers, but all opinions express are that of my own**

It’s no secret that I love thrifting. My love of thrifting began when I was young, my godmother would take us to local thrift stores to shop with her. At that time, thrift stores were musty, dirty, and very much unorganized. But it was the love of the hunt that kept me coming back. The feeling of going through merchandise and before you know it, you struck gold!!!

Fast forward years later, I still love the hunt of thrifting. I recently attended the “sneak peek” of the new Savers Thrift Superstore in North Kansas City, Missouri. I was delighted to receive the invitation by Savers, who started off the evening with a happy hour at Houlihan’s Restaurant. There I met up with my fellow bloggers Mandy from Sugarbee Crafts and Brittany from Brittany Dearest. We dined and dished about blogging, life, and food.

After dining, we made our way over to Savers and it was packed to the gills. There was not a shopping cart available in the building. But that did not stop us from shopping – insert rolling pulley carts to the rescue. Savers went all out with snacks, cotton candy, and balloons for their shoppers. I started searching for deals in shoes, clothing, housewares, and lastly the shoes again. If you follow me on Periscope, you will see the deals I found while shopping.

Below you will find deals in which I purchased, if you have not made your way over to Savers you need to go. This super thrift store is amazing; there are so many treasures to be found!!

Be sure to visit the new Savers, as you can see above there are treasures to behold. Every Savers store partners with a local nonprofit to benefit the community. The North Kansas City Savers will partner with the Epilepsy Foundation of Missouri & Kansas, when you shop you support a cause. Check out the Savers adventures of Mandy from Sugarbeecrafts and Brittney from BritneyDearest.

      Thank you,

I was surprised to find a authentic tori burch purse as well. It was definitely not the kind of find you discover every day.

I’ve never been a shopper, let alone a thrifter. You make it sound like a magical adventure. Great finds~

      Thank you,

Thrifting is my jam! Once you start it will become addictive. I would suggest starting off with a small list of say 2-3 things, then shop directly in those areas. Or perhaps start at a consignment shop they are very organized.

You scored some really great items from Savers. I’m never that lucky when I go thrifting. I love all of your purchases.

I’ve been to a few thrift stores in my area and have found a couple of good items. You definitely are an expert thrifter; I don’t always have the patience to look for and find those diamonds in the rough.
