I’m always looking to give my relatives and friends something “original” where I can get that, “Girl, Where did you find this at?” reaction. It seems like everyone is having a “Black Friday” sale. But with the economy being in a pinch, We want to make sure we spend our money wisely. Here are some great brands that will become your new staples.
- In 2009, Ten year old Nicky Riley created Hand Candies™ because she wanted something to clean and add moisture to hands while she was in school or just away from home. Her Mom Lorie, a licensed Nail Tech for over 20 years, helped her develop something all natural that could be used a few times a day. When it was finally “PERFECT”, there was really no way to carry it in her purse because it was still messy, so Nicky started wrapping the scrubs in candy foils that she got in a candy making kit. Her mom realized how brilliant this idea was and started sharing the products with customers and friends.I emailed the company and they graciously allowed me to review their products. They sent over their “famous” hand candies, body butter, sugar scrub and a bath bomb.

The first product I used was the hand candies, They are a girl’s best friend! They come in a super dandy candy wrapper, which is convenient for travel. They come in all sorts of fragrances from soft to masculine. I used the candies as directed, Open the wrapper, crumble in hand, rinse with warm water, then pat dry. The product left my hands soft and moisturized for hours on end. The second item I tried was a Body Butter in the scent “Rain Water”, I would call it more of a souffle than a butter. It’s creamy and luscious, when applied on your skin it spreads on smoothly and smells fantastic. The third item I tried was the Sugar Scrub in scent “Flirtini”, All I have to say is smells AAAMAZING! The scrub consists of micro fine sugar which made the product soft to the touch, it softly scrubbed not scratched my skin. Lastly, I received a Bath Bomb in scent Ocean, I have yet to use the product but it smells so good. Out of all the products, I recommend them all. *No compensation was received for my opinion, which are of my own.* I let one of my co-workers (who is a male) use the hand candies in scent “Swagger”. He really liked it but said it was a little sticky, then realized he did not rinse off the product completely. *You have to follow the directions* This scent was unlike any male fragrance I’ve encountered. I emailed the owner and told her she should change the scent name from “Swagger” to “Baby-Maker”, Because if my husband were to wear this scent I would probably end up with another baby. Yes! It smells that good.
