It’s officially summer dress season, and I could not wait to pull out one of my favorites. I’ve learned that my skin tone is complimented by wearing bright colors. I found this maxi dress couple of years ago at Halls in Kansas City for under $50. Halls can be just a little pricey, but their pricing structure has changed, so they are affordable to all now. You can find a great selection of items for under $100, and if you shop their sale racks, you can score some fantastic deals.
I love how the overlay gives this simple dress just enough edge. It’s versatility to dress up or down pairing easy with flats or heels, takes this from simple to sassy. The best part is that this dress looks great on most body types! #Winning

Purple is my favorite color and I love this dress. I always have trouble with long dresses because I am so short. Needless to say I have become friends with the tailor.
