It’s no secret that I love my city! Kansas City, Missouri is where I was born and raised, It’s an amazing city to live in. In fact, Huffington Post has recently named Kansas City, Mo as one of the coolest cities in America. It’s no surprise to me, there is so much too do from the strolling the Country Club Plaza during the Holidays, seeing a performance at the Kauffman Center of the Performing Arts, and munching on some delicious Topsy’s Popcorn with family. Our Sassy Pantry

Our Sassy Pantry has been serving up deliciously addictive jams for a while. I discovered their jams while attending events around Kansas City. Most recently, I enjoyed their Bacon Jam on top of creamy Mac & Cheese at the Taste of Kansas City. The Bacon Jam added a touch of sweetness and zing to the Mac & Cheese without compromising it’s flavor. They continue to crank out distinct flavors to get your taste buds wanting more.

Cocoa Dolce hit Kansas City’s scene earlier this year and they have become a force to be reckon with. Move over Starbucks and Christopher Elbow, There’s a new sheriff in town. Cocoa Deluce is a chocolatier that also serves gourmet drinks, gelato, and of course chocolate. And if you’re a true chocolate buff, they have a chocolate making kit where you can test out your skills.  Be sure to stop by their location at Prairie Fire Entertainment District.
