Farm to Market Bread has teamed up with local coffee legend The Roasterie to create a limited edition bread which is only available in select locations until November 17th. The “Black Russian Bread: is Farm to Market’s modern version of pumpernickel bread, which is given a rich and slightly sweet flavor from fresh brewed coffee by The Roasterie.
I was given the opportunity to try out this new bread. I love bread, As a matter of fact – Me and bread are BFF’s. I’ve never ate pumpernickel bread. I usually skip over it in the store and go straight to honey wheat. This morning, I got up early and decided to try out the bread by using it to replace my usual honey wheat in my french toast. I served it up to the kids and though they looked at it funny, both of their plates were clean! I was in a rush this morning and forgot capture a picture to show off my lovely french toast.(working mom struggles) But I did capture pictures before I sliced it up.
I will be “Pimping the Pumpernickel” in my kitchen from now on. Hurry go to the stores in give it a try, It’s only available until November 17th (this Sunday). I promise this bread will not disappoint.
