People often use the cliche, “it’s not always black and white”. I’ve found sometimes it can be especially in fashion. Black and white can be many things chic, grungy, sophisticated, and casual all at the same time. There was a time when the majority of my wardrobe was black. I remember my mom asking me was I okay?
I feel in love with basic black at a young age, as grew older my color palette expanded in wearing every color expect (red) its still a work in progress. But I digress, black and white pieces are staples in my closet. I’ve started to expand into print within the last few years – Thanks to my print princess of fashion Kela Walker of Kela’s Kloset. She’s shown me how to mix and match prints like a pro. So when I saw this printed jumper I knew I had to purchase it. Are you having trouble finding the right black ad white pieces?
Here’s a list of my favorite black and white staple pieces:
1. Black Pencil Skirt
2. Black Wide Leg Pants
3. Traditional White Oxford
4. The Unstructured White Oxford
5. White Blue Jeans
6. Black Trench Coast
7. Black and White Pin Striped Shirt
8. Black Pumps
9. White Tee (Both short and long sleeved)
10. Black Cardigan
